DELIVERING BETTER TENNIS COURTS FOR MEREDITH
A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $1 million to support redeveloped tennis courts at
Meredith Recreation Reserve, Meredith.
Labor will back the local council and deliver up to $1 million towards redeveloping the tennis courts to
competition standard, including lighting and fencing.
Meredith Recreation Reserve is home to Meredith Tennis Club – and this upgrade will back them in.
Labor knows our local clubs provide a place where members, supporters and volunteers come together.
That’s why Labor is backing upgrades that will help people of all ages and abilities get involved in
community sport.
Labor backs community sport.
A Liberal-One Na on Coalition Government would cut it.
Quotes attributable to Minister for Community Sport Ros Spence
“Local sporting clubs bring people together – and Labor is backing them.”
“This project will give players, volunteers and families a place they can be proud of.”
Quotes attributable to Member for Eureka Michaela Settle
“It’s fantastic to see how much this club has grown and what a great community club it’s become. Locals
put in the hard work to rebuild the club, and now we’re backing them to take the next step and expand.
It’s a real credit to everyone who’s worked so hard to make the club what it is today.”
