DELIVERING A BETTER EUREKA HALL
A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $1.7 million to upgrade Eureka Hall.
The hall was first built over a hundred years ago.
It is ageing and no longer fit for purpose.
That’s why Labor will deliver $1.7 million for an accessible, compliant and safe community venue.
The hall is regularly used by community groups for dance lessons, sports, arts and culture
activities and support groups.
These upgrades will deliver a high quality, accessible, fully compliant, and safe venue for the
whole community.
Labor knows community spaces bring people together.
That’s why Labor is backing Eureka Hall.
Labor backs regional communities.
But a Liberal-One Nation Coalition Government and their $40 billion worth of cuts would put this
at risk.
Quotes attributable to Minister for Rural and Regional Development and Member for
Eureka Michaela Settle
"Eureka Hall has been part of Ballarat for a century, and a re-elected Carroll Labor Government
will give it a new lease of life.”
“This $1.7 million commitment will bring the hall up to modern standards, making it safer, more
accessible and ready to serve east Ballarat for years to come.”
