St Anne’s Winery, through a Business Strategic Review and associated Business Development Plan has identified an opportunity for export to East Asia and seek to engage a consultant to provide analysis and advice for entering the market. This project will support the development of new export market in Japan and will include reviewing retail and wholesale distribution systems and market dynamics, identifying key market players, number of outlets, positioning and other relevant market intelligence;

It will also assist in funding a competitive analysis of market competitors by using foreign trade data research to identify local and regional competitors and from leading wine producer markets.

The Wine Growth Fund is part of the Labor Government’s commitment to boost the wine industry in Victoria, alongside the Wine Industry Development Strategy and the formation of the Wine Industry Ministerial Advisory Committee.

In addition, the government will continue to support the wine industry through Wine to the World, a $5 million election commitment to support Victorian wine producers to create jobs and increase exports.
