NEW FACILITIES FOR THE CROATIAN ASSOCIATION OF BALLARAT
Michaela Settle Member for Buninyong today announced that the Australian Croatian Association of Ballarat has been awarded $80,103.74 in funding to renovate their community hall and improve their kitchen facilities.
The Andrews Labor Government is ensuring multicultural Victorians can share and celebrate culture and traditions in accessible and safe environments.
The Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund offers grants of up to $500,000 to organisations to help renovate and maintain community infrastructure.
This round of grants is providing more than $4.5 million to be shared by 30 community organisations to build and upgrade facilities.
Having safe and secure places to celebrate and share cultural history and traditions ensures Victoria's multicultural communities continue to build connections and celebrate diversity.
The Labor Government is committed to fostering an inclusive society – the community infrastructure funding ensures communities across Victoria have dedicated, accessible and safe spaces for community connection, and to ensure the sense of belonging that is essential to the wellbeing and unity of our state.
