BROWN HILL KINDERGARTEN UPGRADE TO GIVE OUR KIDS A GREAT START
Michaela Settle Member for Eureka today announced that Brown Hill Kindergarten will receive a $750,000 grant under the Labor Government’s Building Blocks Improvement Grants Program.
The project will see an expansion of the facility - with the increased capacity - it is expected to create an opportunity for 33 new enrolments for busy working families. Improvements will include the enhancement of outdoor areas, modernising and creating extra room and new spaces inside the facility. Most importantly the grant will create the best possible and comfortable surroundings for our youngest learners to develop, succeed and be prep ready.
The Building Blocks Improvement Program helps kindergartens to build and improve the infrastructure they need to support local families – since 2020 this program has delivered more than $67 million to improve kinders across Victoria.
It’s all part of the Labor Government’s nation-leading Best Start, Best Life reforms which are saving busy families time and money, supporting parents and carers to return to work and study if they choose, and transforming early childhood education.
